It’s the wish of us all, to look like a fashion model. Yet here we are, stuck on this couch and reading this article on a device while the real models are probably somewhere breaking a sweat and getting all those muscles working.
Perhaps you tried to hit the gym and enhance your body image and were unsuccessful. The key to having a fashion model body is actually to think like a fashion model!
So, how in the hell do they managing to do this?
Take a look at a couple of tips for achieving this, and perhaps you might land a modeling gig this summer!
The first thing that you need to do is find inspiration. And not just any inspiration – the one that will get you out of the house for only a week is not good enough!
Make long-term goals for yourself, and if you need to, make a motivational board that will make you want to work out more and more!
The motivation for working out is extremely important – if you hit the gym without feeling like working out, you won’t ever have the results that you wanted. So make sure to have this checked first, and then you can proceed.
Use Their Moves
Yes, the life of a fashion model is glamorous and perhaps a lot different from ours.
But, that doesn’t mean that we cannot think like them from time to time. Anyways, let’s talk about working out.
Even though many fashion models tend to have personal trainers (which is not impossible for you) and have strenuous work out sessions, they do indeed spend a lot of time exercising at home.
Surely, you won’t include cardio in this at-home workout, but you can definitely use some of the exercises that they do!
There are four moves that every model does at home, and those are not only for the abs and bottom but also for your arms, shoulders, calves, thighs, and hips.
Pay Attention to What They’re Wearing
If you’re considering going to the gym and training hard, make sure that you have the right equipment!
Not only that, most importantly- make sure that you have the right clothing!
People believe this is not very important, but the right clothes can do wonders for your body and mind.
Make sure to have good compression clothing and athletic shoes, as you don’t want to get blisters while working out.
Not only will you be feeling more comfortable while working out, but the results will be even better!
This type of clothing is specially designed to help you achieve your goals faster, which is why it is worth the investment!
Just google some photos of celebrity supermodels working out, and you’ll see that nobody hits the gym in an old T-shirt and a pair of sneakers that are worn out and not designed for exercise!
Consider Group Training
Now that you have everything set, you can enroll in a group training class to make it more interesting. For example, many Hollywood actresses and Victoria’s Secret angels have (individual or group) CrossFit style training.
So if you don’t know how to do this by yourself, consider enrolling in such a class. Moreover, if you’re a newbie at anything, a group training can be a good way to start to get the hang of it!
Afterward, you will easily start training by yourself, and you’ll definitely know how to manage your body while doing certain exercises.
It’s always better to let a professional help you first, and since group sessions are instructed by one, it sounds like an excellent choice!
Mind Your Diet
And now, the thing we’re all scared of but sadly, have to acknowledge – minding the things that we eat. Even though we adore junk food and indulge in everything that’s sinful (in the eyes of the people who work out a lot), we simply have to cut down on many things (including the fizzy drinks that make you bloated).
First of all, make sure that you follow a strict meal schedule and eat at regular intervals.
Meaning, eat at the same time every day of the week.
Having a proper diet is extremely important as it will help you take control of your metabolism.
Having the body of a supermodel might not be easy at all, but it’s definitely doable if you know the tips and tricks, and have the right mindset.
Hopefully, you’ll achieve that in the months to come.
