As most of you know, the first thing that people pay attention to is the quality of your skin. When you are a model, you must to have a perfect skin; there’s really no other choice.
This becomes difficult though with all the professional makeup being put on you, always working a different time schedule, and the other complexities of daily life. Today, I will give you some of my own personal tips on how to keep perfect skin, and how to keep your skin looking younger and more vibrant for a long time!
When I was teenager, I had acne. Not only did I use acne products from the store and pharmacy, but I learned how to make a face mask for acne at home- which didn’t work well either.
Truthfully, I never thought I would find a solution to my acne issue growing up! I tried too many ways to fight with this. Everything including even electrical shock-facial therapy!
Luckily, as I was traveling a lot in Asia, (countries where the ideal of beauty itself is in perfect skin), I learned many new techniques!
Below I will share one of the best tips which I learned throughout my life to help keep a more youthful appearance!
Tibetan Doctors Tips for Washing Your Face
I realized I need to change the way that I wash my face after my visits to the Tibetan doctors.
If you don’t know much about Tibetan people or Tibetan doctors, they are truly amazing! Tibetan doctors are able to determine literally all your sicknesses, just by listening to your heart pulse!
I have seen it first-hand, and it is seriously amazing!
These doctors were just laughing from me when I told them that I tried everything, but nothing worked. They simply told me that I need to learn how to clean my face correctly, and gave me a quick lesson.
It was truly helpful, but my skin still wasn’t the “perfect” look I had always wanted. After each time I traveled through Asia, I learned something new about skin care.
Fortunately for me (and you), I was able to take knowledge from more than 10 countries I visited!
The people from these countries; I was so happy to meet along my way.
At this point in my life, I am mostly using methods of Japan and Korea; where their people have the most perfect skin.
When I was in South Korea, they all had skin nearly the same as porcelain dolls!
Even guys! I was impressed!
For them, skin care is a cult.
Of all the techniques I learned throughout my journeys, the most important part of skin care is how deep you clean your skin!
You can buy the most expensive creams, make consistent facial masks, use salon procedures and more, but nothing will help if you’re not cleaning your face correctly!
Whether you are a male, or a female, cleaning your face properly is the most important first step to improving the appearance of the skin on your face.
How to Properly Clean Your Face
The first step is simple, it is always to remove the make-up from your skin.
I always recommend for everyone to use micellar water.
Nothing works better than this.
I have tried various brands, but think Garnier” SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover works the best overall!
For this, you only need to apply a small amount of micellar water on to cotton pads, and remove all the make-up which is currently on your skin.
The most important tip I have here is to make sure that you are moving the cotton pad along the “massage lines” of your face.
Everything that you are doing with your face must follow your massage lines, and never push or stretch your skin! If you do this, all your work will be for nothing.
Stretching your skin in this fashion will essentially traumatize your skin, and negate the good efforts you are putting in!
Do not forget about mascara, you must remove all of this! You can simply put cotton pads on top of your closed eyes, and hold for about 30 seconds.
After you hold the pad for about 30 seconds, you can move the pad from the inner corner of the eye on the lash line, to the outer corner of the eye.
This helps to remove mascara from the upper lashes.
For lower lashes, you need to repeat the same moves, but you need to start from the opposite side (moving from the outer corner of the eye on lash line, to the inner corner of the eye.)
Once you have removed all the makeup on your face, you have developed the foundation for clean skin.
Even if you didn’t wear makeup that day- I still recommending start from this first step (to remove all the dust, skin oil, etc).
Remember this key step, and the rest of your journey to perfect skin will become much easier than you could have imagined!
